The draft Scottish Borders Council and NHS Borders Scottish Borders Autism Strategy 2014-2024 is now out for consultation.

This strategy has been developed over the last six months as part of an extensive engagement process with people with autism, their carers and professionals and details seven priority areas for further development.

This draft local strategy is in line with the national priorities as outlined in the Scottish Strategy for Autism 2011.

Comments are also invited on the draft delivery plan, which outlines a broad range of actions linked to the seven priority areas.

The strategy, delivery plan and feedback form can be found on the Council’s website.

Responses should be returned by Friday 27th June 2014.
