The Friends of Kailzie Wildlife Group in Peebles is a community organisation whose objective is to develop and create opportunities for the wider public to discover wildlife in the local environment through recreation, heritage, wildlife interpretation and educational facilities.

It offers a range of wildlife events and education through its Government funded KLAWED Project and a big part of this is volunteer involvement.

A volunteer work day will be held at Kailzie Gardens on Saturday 23rd November for four hours in the morning when it is hoped that a small team of volunteers will help with a little conservation and maintenance work. It is hoped to attract volunteers from the Tweed Valley who are under or unemployed.
