The new Health and Social Care Standards were published on 9th June.
From 1st April next year, the Standards will be taken into account by the Care Inspectorate, Healthcare Improvement Scotland and other scrutiny bodies in relation to inspections, and registration, of health and care services.
Information about the implementation of the Standards will be issued ahead of the date that they come into operation.
