Tomorrow’s People is a national charity that works to help those who are furthest from the labour market get and keep a job. Within this provision is the specialist Works! Programme that supports excluded young people (aged 16 to 24 years) and helps them develop life-management skills and gain practical work experience and employment through a series of activities.

A new project in Galashiels, Borders Works!, is a 10 week programme working with 16 – 24 year old NEETs.

It is an employability course moving young people towards employment, further education and training. Each course has 12 – 14 young people on it and we four courses will run a year. The project should be up and running by mid October to get the first course finished before Christmas.

The project is currently recruting for posts for this project – for more information contact nthomas@tomorrows-people.co.uk
