The Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 will come into force on 1st April. It provides new rights to carers in a number of areas.
The Coalition of Carers in Scotland has worked with carers, carer organisations and health and social care staff to co-design a set of leaflets that set out what the new rights are.
The first three leaflets look at emergency planning, adult carer support plans and short breaks. These leaflets are also available for organisations supporting carers to adapt. For details e-mail: gabrielle@carersnet.org
