The Independent Living Fund (ILF) Scotland aims to re-open to new recipients early next year. It is hosting a number of engagement events across Scotland during June and July to get views on what criteria should be used to access an additional £5 million funding.
Feedback from these events will assist a working group in making recommendations to the Scottish Government in September 2016. Find out more.
The Fund operates as a discretionary fund providing financial awards to people with a range of impairments. The funding helps them to exercise choice and control over their support, enabling them to live as independently as possible.
