Chief Social Work Officer at Scottish Borders, Elaine Torrance, is planning to form a ‘virtual’ group of individuals to help to ensure that the voice of people who use services is heard during the process of integrating health and social care services.

This includes writing a strategic plan for deciding how adult health and care services will be provided.

The group will consist of service users, carers, or any interested person.

It will be ‘virtual’ because members will be asked to attend some events (but not a regular meeting) and will be sent papers to read and comment on.
