A free networking event, Get Ready for Winter, run by Changeworks in partnership with the Scottish Borders Housing Association (SBHA), will be held from 9am–1pm on Tuesday, 27 September at Langlee Community Centre, Galashiels, with lunch included.

The aim is to facilitate information sharing and cross referrals between front line advisors and other community groups, to better help people who are in or at risk of fuel poverty.

There will be presentations on the services and energy advice support available from Chris Clyne and Alan Cole of Changeworks; Roisin Hurst of Home Energy Scotland; Robbie Stevenson of Scotia Gas Networks, and Sandy Black of Scottish Borders Council.

There will also be presentations from support organisations in the Scottish Borders, including the Healthy Living Network and Bumps to Babies.

For more information, contact Chris Clyne at Changeworks on 0131 468 8665 or e-mail cclyne@changeworks.org.uk
