Views are being sought on a local draft plan for carers. Carers: Living Well in the Scottish Borders 2019-22 is mainly for adult carers. It aims to support the health and wellbeing of carers and to help make caring more sustainable for carers. It builds on work that has been achieved by previous strategies such as Caring Together 2018/2019, which received useful feedback following a consultation earlier this year. The plan has been written in a partnership between Scottish Borders Health and Social Care Partnership, Borders Carers Centre, Borders Care Voice and the Borders Carers Advisory Board. A plan is being prepared outlining aims and actions specifically to support young carers. You can download the plan and have your say online. Hard copy questionnaires will be available.
