There are still a few places available in Contact the Elderly’s tea party groups for isolated, older people in Melrose and Peebles.
The charity runs volunteer-led monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties for groups of isolated, older people over the age of 70. It will be launching a new group in Melrose on 29th May and one in Peebles in the near future. The groups take a maximum of eight people in each group and these groups still have spaces.
Any providers who are aware of anyone in these areas who may benefit from going along to a tea party group is asked to contact the East of Scotland Development Officer, on 01786 871264 or morna.omay@contact-the-elderly.org.uk
