A free workshop for families of disabled children organised by  Contact a Family Scotland in partnership with Gillespie Macandrew LLP

For families who have a child with a disability the question of what will happen when their child turns 16 is a common one and needs to be carefully planned for.

The workshop will cover areas such as powers of attorney, guardianship for people with a disability which prevents them from being able to make decisions for themselves and what happens if and when parents and carers are no longer there.

With good advice, careful forward planning and accurate information, families can not only make informed decisions for the future of their children but also for themselves.
