The Scottish Borders Public Protection Training Group has prepared a short, introductory briefing which is available to all groups and organisations in the private, public and third sectors, to raise awareness of public protection in the Scottish Borders and local resources.
Any providers that would be interested in receiving a briefing (two hours maximum) can e-mail cpctraining@scotborders.gcsx.gov.uk or call 01835 825080. Please give an idea of the potential numbers and if you have a venue in mind.
If providers do not have enough demand within their own organisation for a briefing, Borders Voluntary Care Voice is planning to organise a joint session. If you would like to be involved in this, please e-mail admin@borderscarevoice.org.uk or call 01896 757290.
The briefing does not replace any specific mandatory training.
