Home Energy Scotland is organising a course about reducing the impact of fuel poverty on Wednesday 3rd February.

The half day event will be held at Burnfoot Community Hub in Hawick from 10.30am-1pm.

It will provide an insight into fuel poverty and the impact this has on people’s health.

Participants will find out how to identify a household in fuel poverty and how to signpost them for further help on a national and local level.

This course is for anyone working with households in the Scottish Borders, including the third sector.It is particularly relevant to those who work with groups more vulnerable to fuel poverty including families with children under 16, older people and disabled people.
