Work continues to progress to plan and implement changes to the way in which social care and health duty services are delivered in the Scottish Borders.
In June, providers were advised that there would be no qualified social worker operating within the duty hub. From 12 October, there is no longer any direct occupational therapy input to the duty hub.
The duty hub remains operational, but is now fully staffed by customer service advisors. All social work enquiries and new referrals should be made by calling 0300 100 1800 and selecting option 4, or emailing thehub@scotborders.gcsx.gov.uk
