Funding has been made available to allow free licensed access to the Scottish Borders Community E-learning Portal for up to 180 users.

NHS Borders and Scottish Borders Council are meeting shortly to agree criteria for prioritising access to this funding.

The intention is to offer it to voluntary organisations and individual volunteers, who would otherwise struggle to pay the £27 per annum cost for each user.

Kath Liddington, Knowledge Management Co-ordinator at NHS Borders is keen to find out which third sector organisations may be interested in applying for access.

There is no guarantee that everyone can get free access to the training in the first year, but it would be helpful to get an idea of the number of people who might be interested.
