Borders Voluntary Care Voice is seeking the views of service users on the second draft of the Health and Social Care Integration Strategic Plan.
Co-ordinator Jenny Miller is a member of the Strategic Planning Group as a representative of users of social care, and is keen to get feedback by the end of November or early December .
The plan can be viewed here and there is a summary document here.
A new ninth objective, ‘We want to improve support for unpaid carers to keep them healthy and able to continue in their caring role’, has been added following the last round of consultation in May and June of this year.
The Strategic Plan will be finalised next year, and integration will go live in April 2016
You can take part in the consultation in various ways:
- individually via the online questionnaire (questions are also on Page 38 of the plan)
- via Borders Voluntary Care Voice to jenny@borderscarevoice.org.uk
- as part of a user group if you attend one.
